30 Years of Signature Style

For its fall campaign, Morgenthal Frederics releases “30 Years of Signature Style,” a series of images which celebrates the brand’s impending 30th anniversary with a look back at its rich history in New York City.

Combining the work of illustrator Jason Raish and photographer Chris Chieco, each image features an iconic Morgenthal Frederics frame in a classic New York City setting, each telling a unique story with a comedic tinge. Here, one will find the Walt & Maya riding the subway, or the Hustler crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. There is even a fun scene depicting Devon ice skating in Central Park.

“We took inspiration from a range of influences such as cartoons from The New Yorker, the photography of Arthur Elgort and even the comic books we read when we were kids,” Press adds, “I love how this unique story plays out beautifully, both as individual images and as a complete, cohesive layout.”
